Kathy has finished writing a new original song about a very special place in Australia at the request of a fellow named Ken. It's a true story of the history of this place and features a few very interesting characters that you will love, one in particular will make you very curious. Production of the song has been finished in Nashville; the single will be released to all streaming platforms on the 19th September 2025.
Kathy has been successful in making the Top 5 Finalist Placings in the Gospel/Spiritual Category of the Tamworth Songwriters Association Songwriting Awards, with her beautiful song 'God Is Smiling'. Winners will be announced at a Gala Event on the 21st of January 2025 in Tamworth during the Country Music Festival. Top 5 Finalist Placing in the TSA Songwriting Awards - 15th December 2024

Kathy has gained 2 x Finalist placings in the 'Country' & 'Ballad' Categories of the combined 23/24 ASA Songwriting Awards. The Gala Awards Night will be held in Sydney on the 28/11/24.

Kathy & Kelvin were inducted into the Australian Country Music Stars of Fame by Phil Mahoney & Mike Kennedy on the 06.04.24 at Weston Workers Club.
